Rahul Singh and Mukulraj Agrawal will be heading over from our India headquarters, to attend the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) which occurs from November 13-16, 2017.
“This is the biggest oil and gas show in the Middle East,” said Singh, Vice President at Uniphos Envirotronic Pvt. Ltd (UEPL). “This show is expected to attract up to 100,000 trade professionals from around the world.”
ADIPEC aims to host 25 country pavilions, 16 international oil companies and 19 national oil companies. This year’s theme is “Forging Ties, Driving Growth” which resonates with Uniphos delegates.
“We believe this is an optimal opportunity to increase awareness about the Uniphos brand while identifying new distributors and customers in the region,” explained Singh. “We will be showcasing our gas detection tubes and transmitters, among other products focused on maintaining safe operations in the oil and gas industry.”
Uniphos serves the Middle East markets through a highly qualified team of distributors spread across Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Qatar. These distributors are all intimately involved in the safety and gas detection fields, with offices spread across the region with trained personnel capable of installation and servicing.
“The oil and gas industry in the Middle East is finding our fixed gas transmitter – the KwikSense quite interesting, due to its unique abilities, namely interchangeable smart gas sensors across gases and sensor technologies, without any additional settings necessary in the transmitter,” said Singh. “And with a full portfolio of certifications, namely ATEX, IECex, and SIL2, all requirements of the customer are fulfilled.”
In addition, with Uniphos being in the unique position of being able to supply both kinds of gas detector tube systems – 7 mm thick tubes, as well as 5 mm thin tubes, we are well poised to meet any customer’s requirement to measure more than 300 gas concentrations.
The Uniphos exhibit will be among 2,200 exhibits spanning over 135,000 square meters (almost 1.5 million sq. ft.) and with representatives of 135 countries.
There are about 900 speakers and 200 sessions scheduled during ADIPEC, which will encompass upstream, midstream and downstream sessions. This is the first year that ADIPEC has expanded to include the downstream sector.
According to ADIPEC organizers, conference sessions include exploration and production geoscience; production facilities technologies; field development; operational excellence; drilling and completion technology; health, safety and environment; project engineering and management; gas technology; unconventional resources; improved and enhanced oil recovery; people and talent; and petroleum advanced analytics.
If you are planning on attending ADIPEC, please stop by the Uniphos booth (#12966) and speak to our team about your gas detection needs.
